i am building a 2wd super stock truck out of a 90 chev dually 1 ton i am just curious if any one can tell me if i needc a transfer case gear reduction or can a get away with a tall gear and all my weight at the back , in our association some guys will be using tractor rearends with gear boxes, if anyone can help would b much appreciated.
Super Stock 4X4 Trucks 1. Maximum weight of competition vehicle is 6200#. 2. Maximum cubic inch limit is 410 and engine type must match body manufacturer. 3. Any automotive type engine must be limited to a single, four (4) barrel carburetor and splits with mechanical linkage, with only two valves per cylinder and must accept a stock automotive crankshaft.
